2004 to 2009
Executive Creative Director: Leading and guiding up to 25 Art Directors and
Writers on various brands within FCB, especially Toyota. Launched South Africa’s
fastest selling car, the Toyota Yaris. Worked closely with overseas offices
on inter alia: Unilever, SC Johnson. Traveled to Chicago for a worldwide
pitch where I developed the Mr. Muscle character used worldwide in
markets across Asia, Africa and South Africa. Worked closely with the MD
and CEO re: the daily running of the agency. Hired several Creative teams.
Worked on and presented and won several pitches e.g., The National Lottery,
SABC TV 1 & 2. Contributed daily to key strategies on all brands, liaising
directly with clients and advising them.
